The stock market appreciated strongly in March, when the Ibovespa moved up by 16.97%, the highest monthly upturn since October 2002. The Equity funds category has reflected this movement, especially the FMPFGTS, Single Equity and Sector types, which generated respective returns of 36.51%, 34.56% and 17.27%, and whose portfolios are either exclusively or mostly made up of Vale and Petrobras shares. The Ibovespa Indexed (15.57%) and Ibovespa Active (11.45%) types also presented double-digit returns.
