With six other institutions, ANBIMA is part
of the CVM Advisory Committee (Securities
and Exchange Commission), which promotes
the Press Award. With the objective of
recognizing journalistic articles that clearly
guide investors on the capital market, two
journalists were awarded in 2011, one in
the newspaper category and the other in the
magazine category.
The Association is also part of Conef (National
Council for Financial Education), a body
formed by public and private institutions
and whose objective is to define the Enef
(
National Strategy for Financial Education).
The first project performed under Enef, with
the support of ANBIMA, BM&FBovespa, CNSeg
(
National Confederation of Insurance) and
Febraban (Brazilian Federation of Banks), was
the Financial Education in Schools, which
promoted the inclusion of content on the
topic in public high school courses, in a pilot
project involving more than 800 schools
and 26 thousand students. The project was
accompanied by the World Bank, which should
present an opinion in 2012.
